How to dispose of garbage in Joetsu city.

Today, I’ll tell you how to dispose of garbage in Joetsu city.

We have some rules to sort your garbage.

Joetsu city distributes a garbage calendar which tells us when and how each home in our city.

I will tell you the way to dispose of them.

The days and how are different up to types of garbage.

It is distinguished from 8 types.

Check below the types and when to dispose of them.

   1.Burnable・・・・・・・・・・・・・usually three times a week (same days as the row gavage)

2. Row garbage・・・・・・・・・・・usually three times a week (same days as the burnable garbage)
3. Unburnable   ・・・・・・・・・・・usually twice a month
4. Cans and bottles  ・・・・・・・・・usually twice a month
5. Newspaper and magazines・・・・・・・・usually twice a month
6. Containers made from paper and plastics・・usually once a week
7. Battery and lighter・・・・・・・・・・・・usually six times a year
8. Lights・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・ ・usually six times a year

※The days and places to discard are different from where you live so please check the details on the garbage calendar.

When you dispose of burnable, row and unburnable ones, you need to buy the garbage bags.  You have to get them at supermarkets, convenience stores, and some drug stores and so on.

There are 4 sizes, 45l, 20l, 10l, and 5l, so please choose the best size for you.

 

Except for the above 3, you don’t need to buy any garbage bags.

 

When you discard them, you need to use the garbage bags which Joetsu city designates.

It is necessary to tie handle up. 

 

上越市（じょうえつし）でゴミを捨（す）てる時（とき）には決（き）まりがあります。

 

簡単（かんたん）に紹介（しょうかい）します。

ゴミは８種類（しゅるい）あります。

• 燃（も）やせるゴミ

     ・・通常（つうじょう）１週間（しゅうかん）に3回（かい）生（なま）ゴミと同（おな）じ日（ひ）

• 生（なま）ゴミ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・通常１週間に3回 燃やせるゴミと同じ日
• 燃（も）やせないゴミ・・・・・・・・・・・・・・・通常1ヶ月（かげつ）に２回
• 空（あ）き缶（かん）やビン・・・・・・・・・・・・通常１ヶ月に２回
• 新聞（しんぶん）や雑誌（ざっし）・・・・・・・・・通常１ヶ月に２回
• 紙（かみ）やプラスチック製容器（せいようき）・・・通常１週間に１回
• 乾電池（かんでんち）やライター・・・・・・・・・・通常１年間に６回
• 蛍光灯（けいこうかん）や電球（でんきゅう）・・・・通常１年間に６回

※曜日（ようび）や出（だ）す場所（ばしょ）は住（す）んでいる場所（ばしょ）によって違（ちが）います。詳（くわ）しくは配（くば）られているゴミのカレンダーで確認（かくにん）してください。

 

燃（も）やせるゴミ、生（なま）ゴミ、燃（も）やせないゴミを捨（す）てる時（とき）には上越市指定（じょうえつししてい）のゴミ袋（ぶくろ）を買（か）う必要（ひつよう）があります。

スーパーマーケットやコンビニ、ドラッグストアなどで買（か）えます。

大きさは45ℓ、20ℓ、10ℓ、5ℓの４つです。一番いいサイズを選んでください。

 

それ以外（いがい）のゴミは袋（ぶくろ）を買（か）う必要（ひつよう）はありません。

 

ゴミを捨（す）てる時（とき）は持（も）ち手（て）を縛（しば）って捨（す）ててくださいね。
